Pray

Holy Cross Heritage Month is a terrific time to pray with the many Holy Cross heroes. Initiate a novena for the canonization of members of the Holy Cross Congregation on the journey to sainthood or simply include the Holy Cross Heritage Month in daily prayer.
Apostolates:
  • Pray the Heritage Month prayer at staff meetings
  • Pray a novena as a staff for the canonization of a member of the Holy Cross Congregation.
  • As we continue prayers for the canonization of founder Blessed Basil Moreau, start a novena that can be said during morning or afternoon prayers. This could also be a special project within religion classes. Click here for a guide.
 Educators of K-8:
  • Schedule a special liturgy for one of the Holy Cross feasts in January.
  • Incorporate the Heritage Month prayer into the classrooms or daily prayer at school.
